My Life in Pink - Synopsis
« My life through Rose coloured glasses » is the story of a little boy who dreams of being a girl. What seems normal to him is not necessarily the same for others; there is the done thing and things which are just not done, even if they might seem natural to us.
The film also talks about parents who don’t know what to do when faced with the tenacity, the conviction of their children.
Parents, who react as best they can, hurt when looks from their neighbours are full of reproach.
It talks about a calm district where differences are discovered, fear of others, incomprehension and reject.
It talks about dreams, magic and hope.
It talks about the Technicolor world of a doll and the real world which progressively loses colour.
It talks about the violence which isn’t expressed through hitting but which is just as painful.
It talks about enormous disillusion with a great deal of optimism.
